PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
WHAT IS OUR PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM?
The Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) hosts a professional mentorship program focused on creating relationships between members and business professionals who provide valuable career insights. Over the course of the program, ALPFA facilitates four conversations where professionals assist students in learning how to excel in their future careers.
WHY BECOME A PROFESSIONAL MENTOR FOR ALPFA
Mentors will build relationships with our talented members who are studying in high employment majors such as Finance, MIS, and Accounting. Our members are future business leaders who have been known to intern with large corporations. ALPFA is an organization based on diversity and inclusion with members ready to engage themselves with professionals. A connection with a member from our organization guarantees a commitment to growth and contribution to shaping the next leaders in business.

This event will consist of professional mentors helping students work on skills needed to obtain a career through career planning, resume review, and interview scenarios.
October 22,
2022
The focus of this event is to have professional mentors explain the importance of workplace culture and how to be prepared for a corporate workday.
November 14, 2021
During this event, mentees will explore how to continue developing both personally and professionally during their careers with their mentor.
GUIDELINES
By participating in the professional mentorship program mentors will be asked:

•To attend the required upcoming mentorship events listed above
​
•Mentors are recommended to meet outside these events and maintain communication throughout the year in order to assist student development
​
•To contact the Human Resources Director about any questions or concerns during the duration of the program
