Welcome! We are ecstatic to see your interest in serving as ALPFA's next Executive Board of Directors. The application, important information and dates, and director position descriptions are listed below to help complete your application. If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the current executive directors.
Important Information and Dates
1. The application is due Friday, April 3rd, 2020, at 11:59 P.M.

2. Submit your application to alpfa.president@gmail.com. Attach a resume with your application.

3. Send additional documents (banners, photos, videos, etc) as separate attachments in your email.
​
4. Director Interviews will be conducted at a later time TBD.
​
5. The newly elected Board of Directors will be announced at a later time TBD.
​
6. Must be a paid member during entire term as a director.
Director Positions and Responsbilites
President
Lead ALPFA
Work with fellow directors to put on events
Work with outside student chapters to expose UT Austin Chapter to the National Organization
Provide endless opportunities for members
Professional Development
Provide tools and workshops to advance professionalism
Plan and host capstone professional events
Discover and promote professional opportunities for members
Work with VP to maintain corporate relations
Internal Relations
Plan and execute all social events
Have basic event planning organization skills
Be prepared to have social skills for recruitment
Keep track of point system and attendance for all events
Create a unique way in which an ALPFA investment benefits the members of ALPFA at every GM

Marketing
Create all print and digital marketing media (T-Shirts, Banners, Foam Boards) using photoshop
Develop a cohesive brand and ensure brand recognition
Put up General Meeting posters around McCombs and UTC
Manage ALPFA Social Media
Vice President
Handle Corporate Relations
Secure Corporate Sponsorship
Help PD find Corporate Opportunities
Represent the UT ALPFA brand and build relationships

Finance
Manage ALPFA’s accounts
Budget for all events with directors
Fundraise throughout the year for National Convention
Manage payments for membership dues
Order and serve food for events and General Meetings

Technology
Brand ALPFA through tech opportunities
Innovate processes utilizing new technology
Website Design for texasalpfa.com
Organize GM slides and internal information
Service Outreach
Engage ALPFA in volunteer events
Communicate with volunteer coordinators
Facilitate and organize volunteer events
Have a passion for volunteerism

Mentorship
Organize and manage ALPFA’s Mentorship program
Host study hours
Plan mentorship events

Part 2: Director Specific Questions. These are specific questions from the director position(s) you are applying for. If you are interested in applying for more than one role, complete each specific question.
