Professional development
Professional Events Team Member
​
This position is available for anyone that wants to help with the logistics of professional events like Ready, Set, Go, Spring into Action, and other events that come up throughout the year. This lead will be my go to person to coordinate events and do such activities as set up a room reservation, reserve catering, and lay out an agenda and budget.

Professional Development Team Member
​
This position is available for anyone that wants to lead workshops as well as be a resource for members in resumes and interview preparation. This position will focus on helping members, and not just helping them during the workshops, but also following up after workshops and throughout the semester.
Marketing
Digital Content Creator
​
This position is available for anyone who wishes to create and design the digital banners, posters, instagram icons, and anything graphic. They will follow the brand guidelines to create aesthetically pleasing and attention grabbing designs, They will design t-shirts and promotional gear. Experience in photoshop, illustrator, or Canva is highly recommended, however, anyone willing to learn and work hard is welcome to apply.

Social Media Analytics Specialist
​
This position is available for anyone who would like to aid in the marketing of ALPFA events. My Digital Content Creator and I will work hand-in-hand to ensure that all marketing materials are accurately distributed in a timely manner. This includes analyzing data to develop the best content calendar. They will always be suggesting new ideas and making inferences based on data for new marketing ideas and social media subjects we can improve on. They will manage social media and newsletter. Also, they will work closely with the Technology Team to do this.
Multimedia Production Specialist

This position is available for anyone who loves videography and photography. These specialist will promote ALPFA through short videos of capstone events. They will be in charge of taking pictures at crucial events. They will also head the Human of ALPFA project where we select a member to highlight and film a short video in their honor. Experience with video production is HIGHLY recommended, however, anyone willing to learn and work hard is welcome to apply.

These positions are available for anyone who is interested in helping with fundraisers and profit shares to ensure that they are successful. Tasks associated with this position include: collaborating with the finance director to come up with new and exciting fundraisers, help setup and take down materials used during fundraisers, deciding what food will be served at General Meetings, etc. Leads are going to work closely with the finance director to guarantee that we are budgeting correctly so we get more for our money. Based on your interests, the Finance Director may have you head particular fundraising events such as profit shares, bake sales, as well as take a larger role in bigger fundraising events like Casino Night. Last requirement for the fundraiser committee is to be enthusiastic about the fundraisers we host. People applying for these positions will also be mingling with people who come out to profit shares and with their ALPFAmilia who comes out to show support.
Technology
Technology Coordinator

This Team Member will be responsible for providing technology infrastructure solutions to Directors that need it, such as cables, projectors, music, etc. as well as serving as a data analyst within the responsibilities of the Technology Director. Technical skills such as programming, basic database management experience, and Office Suite familiarity preferred to effectively co-run Tech Office Hours and other Tech events with the Technology Director.

Webmaster

This Team Member will be in charge of managing the Texas ALPFA website. This entails updating the various pages from the Gallery to the Job Board and ensuring that the information throughout the site itself is accurate and up to date. Weekly updates are a must. Innovation is appreciated and will be heard. Web design experience and/or a willingness to learn is preferred. This Team Member should also be comfortable co-running Tech Office Hours and other Tech events with the Technology Director.
Human resources
Human Resource Coordinator

Each team member will be responsible for organizing and executing the logistical parts of the Human Resource main series, called alpfaconnect. This includes (but not limited to) planning budgets, directing and promoting professional/social events, creating new events, collecting data from members, and basic technical work. This position is available to anyone who would like an administrative role in planning out events and who has some creative ideas for events (and constant improvement) regarding upcoming HR series. The team will help in the decision making process of each Human Resource event/series such as deciding whether to continue the alpfaconnect series into the spring semester. During the fall semester each team member will take part in planning and organizing the 1st professional mentorship program within the UT ALPFA Chapter that will be executed in the spring semester. This includes: writing curriculum, planning budgets, contacting professionals, researching companies and contacting companies. In the spring semester the execution of the professional mentorship program (based on planning of the previous semester) will take place.

Service Project Coordinator

This position is great for anyone that is service-minded and loves giving back to the community. This role is for a big-picture-oriented individual that is creative in planning and executing events (along with my help). Sky is the limit! For the upcoming spring semester, I have planned to organize a big service event. If you are applying to this position, please have an idea that you’d like to see executed next semester so you can share it with me during your interview. Do not be intimidated! Also, Service Project Coordinator and Service Outreach Specialist will work together towards ALPFA’s 2019-2020 zero-waste initiative.

Service Outreach Specialist
This position is great for anyone that is service-minded and loves giving back to the community. This role will be in charge of maintaining logistics, such as tracking service hours throughout the year, managing detailed project prospects and reaching out to non-profit and other organizations on campus. Service Outreach Specialist and Service Project Coordinator will work together towards ALPFA’s 2019-2020 zero-waste initiative.

This position is available for anyone that wants to help with the logistics of professional events, one per semester, and social events that come up throughout the year. This lead will be our go to person to coordinate events and will follow through with the process of setting up a room reservation, reserving catering, and laying out an agenda and budget. This lead will also collaborate with the other WOA team member to help market the events.

Social Event and Engagement Administrator
This position is available for anyone that wants to help with the logistics and marketing of social events throughout the year, as well as collaborating with the other WOA team member to market professional events. This position is also responsible for staying in touch with the mentees and keeping them engaged in the program, as well as with their respective professional mentor.

Internal Relations Consultants

These Team Members will be responsible for helping brainstorm, create, and plan for ideas for membership events throughout the year and maintaining a relationship with members. They are to help set up for socials and are encouraged to interact with everyone during events to build a stronger ALPFAmilia. Other responsibilities include maintaining the point and raffle system so that we can track our members’ progress throughout the year for all of our events. Additionally, there are minor social programs that require minor overseeing, such as LunchMigos and Intramural Sports. Each team member will have the opportunity to lead at least one social event throughout the year, if they’ve proven to be committed and dedicated throughout the year.
